SOS Rio Grande do Sul - Brazil

My hometown and state (Rio Grande do Sul) are currently enduring the worst natural disaster in Brazil's history. They have been struck by severe floods, which have destroyed two-thirds of the state, leaving millions homeless, and causing numerous deaths and disappearances of people and animals.

The army and NGOs are providing assistance, but I also have friends and family volunteering at unofficial shelters. Despite losing nearly everything themselves, they are helping others in need.

These volunteers urgently need supplies like medicine, food, and water until more substantial aid can arrive from the government and nonprofit organizations.

I am organizing a fund to support two of  friends and my sister, who are on the front lines of this crisis to support other people in need. I plan to collect all receipts and provide accountability for the funds raised.
