Reconstrução Aldeia Nova Aliança após enchente

FAMÍLIA HUNI KUIN DA ALDEIA NOVA ALIANÇA (JORDÃO/AC) PRECISA DE AJUDA  (English below)

Uma família dos povos HUNI KUIN da ALDEIA NOVA ALIANÇA que se encontra em uma viagem, como comitiva, se deparou nesse momento crítico com a situação de perderem tudo (a casa foi levada pela enchente, perderam seu plantio de alimentos e tudo que havia dentro da casas), em função das chuvas que assolam o município do Jordão (Acre, floresta Amazônica). Estão nessa viagem o casal Txana Kêà, Tume e o filho Siri Bai que saiu da aldeia pela primeira vez. Ficaram na aldeia seus outros filhos e parentes, inclusive um pequeno ainda com 3 anos de idade.  A família está realmente muito preocupada e precisando dessa ajuda humanitária para poderem restaurar duas casas e adquirirem tudo que perderam, colchões, roupas, utensílios, material de artesanato (trabalham com tecelagem, e adereços feitos com contas), além da maior parte dos plantios de alimentos.O rio nunca tinha enchido tanto, o que tem acontecido como sinal das mudanças climáticas, que acaba afetando inicialmente os mais vulneráveis. O município do Jordão se localiza no Acre, cidade muito pobre, e que nesses dias teve 60% do seu território inundado. Os povos HUNI KUIM vivem na região da fronteira do Peru com o Brasil, e são realmente guardiões da floresta, mantendo vivo seu conhecimento ancestral e cuidando da conservação da Floresta Amazônica no território indígena do Alto do Rio Jordão, onde vivem.

A HUNI KUIN FAMILY FROM THE ADEIA NOVA ALIANÇA (JORDÃO/AC) NEEDS HELPA HUNI KUIN family from the village of Nova Aliança is on a trip, as a delegation, and at this critical moment is faced with the situation of losing everything (their house was washed away by the flood, they lost their food crops and everything in the house), due to the rains that are devastating the municipality of Jordão (Acre, Amazon forest). On this trip are the Txana Kêà couple, Tume and their son Siri Bai who left the village for the first time. Their other children and relatives have stayed in the village, including a small boy who is still 3 years old.  The family is really worried and needs this humanitarian aid to be able to rebuild two houses and buy everything they have lost, mattresses, clothes, utensils, handicraft materials (they work with weaving and beaded ornaments), as well as most of their food crops.

The river had never filled up so much, which has happened as a sign of climate change, which initially affects the most vulnerable. The municipality of Jordao is located in Acre, a very poor town, which in these days had 60% of its territory flooded. The HUNI KUIM people live in the border region between Peru and Brazil, and are truly guardians of the forest, keeping their ancestral knowledge alive and caring for the conservation of the Amazon forest in the indigenous territory of Alto do Rio Jordão, where they live. WE MUST UNITE TO HELP THEM REBUILD THEIR LIVES!!!!!
