My name is Polyana Gomes, and I came through this solidarity movement to ask for help with a humanitarian aid issue. I lived in the UK for 4 and a half years, during which time I met a Portuguese man named Paulo Rodrigues. I lived with him for two years, during which time I suffered various types of aggression, both physical and psychological. I reported it to the local authorities at the police station. I underwent psychological treatment for a long time. I was caught by immigration. I appealed to the home office for domestic violence, but even so, they denied my request and left me there for 30 days. Two days later, I am depressed. Now I am in Brazil and I need to try to reclaim my human rights. I suffered in England.
