Nath no Congresso da ISWA

The yearly ISWA Congress is one of the main events in the international solid waste management field. The ISWA family has supported me in many ways and I really value our relationships! I am also active in the ISWA Young Professionals Group, a team of around 100 enthusiastic people around the world!

This year the Congress will be in Bilbao, Spain, and besides being the place where my grandparents come from, I will present 2 papers orally at the Latin American sessions, together with my colleague and supervisor from the master program I am enrolled in Brazil. There was a great difficulty in raising money through the University.

The money to be raised is to pay for the airticket from Sao Paulo in Brazil to Madrid in Spain. This will be a great opportunity for me to improve my skills and to do what I love the most: meet new people around the world and learn about how waste is managed in their places. I hope all this knowledge can be applied in the future specially in the developing countries!
