Olá! Me chamo Vivian e sou artista da dança. Esta companha tem o intuito de arrecadar fundos para que eu possa realizar o sonho de estudar em uma das mais tradicionais e importantes escolas de dançacontemporânea do mundo: a Rambert School.
Em março deste ano, recebi minha aceitação para cursar o Bacharelado (com honras) na Rambert School em Londres. O curso de graduação é feito geralmente em 3 anos, mas, ao fim do processo seletivo, me foi oferecida uma vaga para ingressar já no último ano do curso, ainda com uma porcentagem em bolsa de estudos.
Desde março tem sido uma luta diária, enviando dezenas de e-mails para grandes empresas e personalidades que, talvez, pudessem me ajudar, mas, por motivos diversos alegados, nenhuma dessas instituições, se propôs a custear meus estudos.
Foi então que decidi abrir esse financiamento coletivo. Hoje, o meu maior obstáculo é o custo da taxa de tutoria e, também, dos valores que devo comprovar para conseguir o visto de estudante na Inglaterra. Por isso, gostaria de contar com a sua colaboração para me ajudar a dar um passo à frente na direção deste objetivo. Todas as formas de ajuda são muito bem-vindas e representam um valor imensurável para mim para a construção do meu futuro.
Essa oportunidade é um passo importante na direção do meu maior propósito de vida que é estudar, preservar e disseminar a cultura dos povos indígenas do nosso país, promover o debate sobre as questoes sociais e ambientais por meio das minhas criações e performances.
Eu acredito no poder de transformação social que a dança e o movimento podem exercer na vida das pessoas, e o que mais desejo é me tornar um instrumento dessa transformação.

Me formei na Escola Estadual de Dança Maria Olenewa (2014), instituição pública pertencente ao Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro, onde trabalhei alguns anos depois como membro do corpo de baile. Durante os anos de 2016 e 2018, fui contemplada com uma bolsa de estudos para o IBStage, em Barcelona, Espanha (2016), bolsa integral para o Sarasota Ballet Flórida e participei das finais do Youth American Grand Prix (YAGP), em Nova York (2018).
Participei de workshops internacionais de grandes companhias de dança como Akran Khan, TAO Dance Theater, NDT, Batsheva e Jacob Jonas the Company (os dois últimos com bolsa de estudos).
Em 2018, com uma bolsa de estudo integral, participei do curso intensivo de GAga dancers, sediado em Tel Aviv, Israel, na Batsheva Dance Company e durante todo o período, tive aulas com Ohad Naharin, criador dessa linguagem de movimento.
Também, pude participar de residências coreográficas no Saatstheater Mainz e Münster, ambos na Alemanha, como processo de aprendizagem para jovens coreógrafos selecionados.

Ballet do Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro 2011-2015 (estágio);
Ballet do Theatro Mariinsky - Le Corsaire, 2014, no Brasil;
Em 2018, integrei o corpo de Baile do Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro como bailarina contratada.
Desde 2017, ministro aulas de dança contemporânea e ballet clássico em instituições de dança no Brasil.
2021 iniciei meu na Cia Gente como interprete.

Hi! My name is Vivian, I am a dancer / performer and this campaign is to help me fulfill my dream of studying at Rambert School.Last march, I received my acceptance to attend the Bachelor's Degree (with honors) at the Rambert School, in London. The graduation course lasts 3 years, but, at the end of the selection process, the school director offered me a place to attend the last year of the course, with a percentage as a scholarship.I have always been passionate about nature, the vast amount of cultures and the indigenous peoples in my country. That is why I have felt the urgency to understand the environment situation in Brazil more closely and the assignments on land disputes and devastation of the biomes. My passion on Guarani, Caingangue, Guajajara, Ianomâmi and Xavante’s culture, my understanding on the environment issues and the constant violation of native people’s rights have led me to focus my art in terms of preservation of the natural resources as well as the protection of those people, making my creations a tool to manifest for those causes.
The Bachelor degree at Rambert School is an important step towards my greatest purpose in life. The academic studies will provide me a broad knowledge and basis for developing a dance research properly. I believe that the movement techniques and the access to the dance world community will give me solid tools to ground my research and improve my choreographic creations. This crowdfunding represents the opportunity to achieve my goal regarding my academic career in order to disseminate the importance of the causes that I carry on with my art.
However, my economic situation is very fragile and, unfortunately, I have not gotten any support from the Brazilian government. Besides that, the costs with tuition fee and other expenses in UK are tremendously high for me to afford. The UK currency values seven times more than Brazil’s. It is important to mention that the minimum salary in my country, to work 160 hours per month, corresponds to the astonishing amount of 157 pounds.
Even though I am aware of that situation, I firmly believe in the power of social change that the dance and movement can make in people's lives and my wish is to become an instrument of that transformation. This award means hope to my future and the possibility for making the world listen to those people's voices.
ABOUT ME
I concluded my ballet and dance studies at the State School of Dance Maria Olenewa (2014), a public institution that belongs to the Municipal Theater of Rio de Janeiro, where I worked a few years later as a member of the dance corps. From 2016 to 2018, I had gotten a scholarship to the IBStage, in Barcelona, Spain (2016), a full scholarship to the Sarasota Ballet Florida, and I participated in the Youth American Grand Prix (YAGP) finals in New York (2018).
