Meu nome é João Pedro, sou bolsista integral na FGV no curso de Administração Pública, e consegui uma vaga de intercâmbio para passar um semestre na Universidade de St Gallen. No entanto, preciso de ajuda para custear a viagem. Sou filho de mãe-solo, primeira geração na faculdade e minha mãe sempre fez, das tripas, coração para garantir que não falte o essencial. Para nós, educação de qualidade é parte desse essencial.
Enquanto estudava atualidades, comecei a considerar uma carreira como diplomata, onde pudesse ajudar pessoas, aprender novos idiomas, conhecer o mundo e crescer como indivíduo. Eu sempre gosto de ousar ir mais longe, pois é preciso coragem para alcançar seus objetivos. Escolhi ser aluno da FGV sabendo que seria a melhor opção para me levar a todo o meu potencial.
Como diplomata, vou gerir as relações para o bem da nação, mas não é só isso: o verdadeiro propósito desta carreira é ajudar a resolver problemas entre as pessoas. Para trazer segurança para quem se sente deslocado e onde há conflito, promover a paz.
A oportunidade de ir para a Universidade de St. Gallen me foi apresentada no começo desse ano. Localizada em um país que admiro, St. Gallen é uma das melhores escolas de liderança do mundo. Possui cursos inovadores e desafiadores que visam causar um impacto positivo e sustentável na sociedade e formar cidadãos globais responsáveis.
Quero ser um líder em minha profissão, família e meio ambiente. Sou comprometido com a excelência do que faço. Ir para uma instituição de prestígio na Suíça é um caminho indispensável para ajudar a alcançar esse objetivo. Um indivíduo bem preparado e bem intencionado pode revolucionar o mundo.
St Gallen me ofereceu gratuidade da mensalidade e um auxílio equivalente a 10% do meu custo semestral, por isso peço que me ajudem com os outros 90%.

My name is João Pedro, I'm from Brazil and earned a scholarship to study in Switzerland, but I need help with the expenses.
I currently have a full scholarship at FGV in the Public Administration course. I also just got a scholarship for a semester at the University of St Gallen in Switzerland.
However, I need help to pay for the trip. I am the son of a single mother, the first generation in college. My mother has consistently moved mountains to ensure the essentials for me. For us, quality education is part of this essential.
While studying current affairs, I began to consider a career as a diplomat, where I could help people, learn new languages, see the world, and grow as an individual. I always like to dare to go further, as it takes courage to achieve your goals. I chose to be a student at FGV, knowing that it would be the best option to take me to my full potential.
As a diplomat, I will manage relations for the good of the nation, but that's not all: the real purpose of this career is to help solve problems between people; to bring security to those who feel out of place; and where there is conflict, promote peace.
FGV introduced me to the opportunity to go to the University of St. Gallen earlier this year. Located in a country I admire, St. Gallen is one of the best leadership schools in the world. It has innovative and challenging courses that aim to form responsible global citizens.
I want to impact society positively and be a leader in my profession and family. I am committed to excellence in what I do. Going to this institution of prestige is an indispensable way to help achieve my goal. A well-prepared and well-meaning individual can revolutionize the world.
St Gallen offered me free tuition and an allowance equivalent to 10% of my semester cost, so I ask you to help me with the other 90%.
