Intercambio de au pair

Hi everyone, my name is Glayce, I'm 26, I'm from São Paulo, Brazil, but I live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I currently live with my 24-year-old brother. I'm participating in an au pair program, for those who don't know, I'm going on an exchange program in the United States, where I'll stay at a host family's house. I'm responsible for taking care of their children. I'll help with breakfast, lunch, dinner, homework, baths, taking them to school, playing, etc. I was recently robbed and all my money was stolen. I thought a lot about giving up, but this has always been my dream. There are many things I want to achieve, and working as an au pair, I know it will be a good path. When I found out about the program, I was a little scared because I didn't know it existed. After a while, I started to get to know it better. Since I have a lot of experience with children and have always enjoyed working with children, I thought it was a great opportunity.
