Help with participation in the II Pan-African Catholic Congress in Nairobi, Kenya

Eu sou Cleusa Caldeira, teóloga negra, que está desenvolvendo o Teoquilombismo, uma teologia negra em perspectiva decolonial, que está marcada pela interlocução com as epistemologias africanas e afro-brasileiras. 

Preciso arrecadar fundos para minha participação no II Congresso Pan-Africano Católico, em Nairobi-Quênia. Seria a  única negra da América Latina neste Congresso. Estarei compartilhando um pouco da experiência vivida da comunidade afro-brasileira. É uma grande oportunidade de aprofundar o diálogo Sul-sul e nos conectar com nossa ancestralidade.  Com isso, busco fazer justiça cognitiva e epistêmica. 

Oxalá, você possa também fazer parte deste projeto, como uma atitude antirracista, investindo na formação contínua de pessoas negras.

I am Cleusa Caldeira, black theologian, who is developing Theoquilombismo, a black theology in decolonial perspective, which is marked by the interlocution with African and Afro-Brazilian epistemologies.

I need to raise funds for my participation in the II Pan-African Catholic Congress, in Nairobi-Kenya. I will be the only black woman from Latin America in this Congress. I will be sharing some of the lived experience of the Afro-Brazilian community. It is a great opportunity to deepen the South-South dialogue and connect with our ancestry.  With this, I seek to do cognitive and epistemic justice.

Hopefully, you too can be part of this project, as an anti-racist attitude, investing in the continuing education of black people.
