I am fundraising on Vakinha (a Brazilian platform), so here is a quick guide if you do not speak Portuguese:
Hey everyone ,I`m ManyTheGuy, and Rivals of Aether II is my absolute favorite game. Ever since it came out, it has completely changed my life in the best way possible.
I started by going to my local tournaments every chance I got. Those events became something I looked forward to every month. I met so many incredible people—new friends, rivals, and members of the fighting game community who made me feel welcome right away. Whether we were hyping each other up after a tough set or sharing tips between matches, the local scene showed me how special this game really is. It’s not just about winning; it’s about the connections you build.
At the same time, I kept grinding ranked online. Countless hours of practice, analyzing replays, learning matchups, and pushing my limits with my mains — Forsburn and La Reina. The satisfaction of finally landing that perfect combo or turning a losing game around kept me coming back.
All that dedication paid off in a huge way: after months of consistent grinding and improving, I earned an invitation to compete at EVO 2026 in Las Vegas.
EVO is the biggest fighting game tournament in the world, and this year Rivals of Aether II is making its main stage debut. Playing on that level, in front of thousands of fans, is a dream come true for any competitive player. Representing the community I love, showcasing what I’ve learned, and experiencing the energy of EVO live… I still can’t believe it’s happening.
But here’s the thing: getting there isn’t cheap. Flights to Las Vegas, hotel for the weekend (June 26–28, 2026), food, transportation, and all the little expenses that add up when you’re traveling for a big tournament — it’s a real challenge on my budget.
I’ve already put in the work on the controller; now I need a little help to make the trip possible so I can fully focus on competing and representing the Rivals scene.
If you’ve ever loved a game that brought you joy, friends, and unforgettable memories, you know how much this means to me. Any donation — big or small — helps me get one step closer to Las Vegas. In return, I’ll be streaming my journey, sharing updates from EVO, and giving a huge shoutout to everyone who supports me.
Whether you drop a few dollars, share this campaign with your friends, or just send some good vibes, it all means the world. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in a local player chasing a big dream.
Let’s take Rivals of Aether II to the big stage together!
