Alexia is a seven-year-old girl with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Her condition limits her to be almost completely paralyzed, she is able to communicate only with facial expressions. The government of Parana provides the family with 1,000 reais monthly to buy everything she needs, but this amount isn't able to cover all the family's expenses with medication, therapy, diapers, and other products.
