Congresso Mundial de Neurocirurgia de Estudantes de Medicina

Olá a todos! Sou Marcus Paulo Vilela Medeiros, estudante de medicina do 9º período na Universidade Federal do Triângulo Mineiro. Fui convidado para fazer parte do grupo de pesquisa do Professor Saleem Abdulrauf, renomado neurocirurgião americano com vasta experiência na área de neurocirurgia vascular, professor de neurocirurgia na George Washington University e neurocirurgião-chefe do Instituto Abdulrauf de Neurocirurgia, sendo considerado a autoridade mundial em cirurgia com o paciente acordado para abordagem de aneurismas cerebrais, malformações arteriovenosas (MAVs) e bypass extracraniano-intracraniano (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saleem_Abdulrauf). O Professor Saleem me deu a oportunidade de apresentar um trabalho no 4º Congresso Mundial de Neurocirurgia de Estudantes de Medicina, que ocorrerá nos dias 4 a 7 de setembro de 2024, em Florença, na Itália. Como todos sabem, viajar do Brasil para a Europa é muito caro, sendo que todas as despesas estimadas ficarão em mais de R$ 12.000,00 (12 mil reais), incluindo passagens de avião (R$ 1.500,00 de Uberaba-MG a Guarulhos-SP, R$ 7.000,00 de Guarulhos-SP a Florença-IT) e estadia no hotel (R$ 3.000,00, 6 diárias, de 3 a 8 de setembro). Hello everybody! I'm Marcus Paulo Vilela Medeiros, a 5th year medical student at the Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro, Uberaba-MG, Brazil. I was invited to be part of the research group of Professor Saleem Abdulrauf, a renowned American neurosurgeon with extensive experience in the field of vascular neurosurgery, Professor of Neurosurgery at George Washington University and Neurosurgeon-in-Chief at the Abdulrauf Institute of Neurosurgery, considered the world authority on awake surgery for brain aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) and extracranial-intracranial bypass (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saleem_Abdulrauf). Professor Saleem gave me the opportunity to present a work at the 4th Medical Students World Congress of Neurosurgery, which will take place from September 4th to 7th, 2024, in Florence, Italy. As everyone knows, traveling from Brazil to Europe is very expensive, with all estimated expenses being more than R$ 12,000.00 (US$ 2,120.00 / € 1950.00), including flight tickets (R$ 1,500.00 from Uberaba-MG to Guarulhos-SP, R$ 7,000 .00 from Guarulhos-SP to Florence-IT) and hotel stay (R$ 3,000.00, 6 nights, from September 3rd to 8th).
