Comitiva Yawanawa de volta pra Aldeia

[English bellow]CAMPANHA AJUDE A COMITIVA YAWANAWÁ VOLTAR PARA CASAEm fevereiro deste ano a pajé Hushahu Yawanawá saiu de sua casa, na Aldeia Mutum - Terra Indígena Yawanawá do Rio Gregório, Acre, Brasil - levando consigo uma comitiva de 11 jovens de seu povo, alguns dos quais nunca tinham viajado para fora do Acre antes. Seu objetivo era mostrar aos jovens um pouco do seu trabalho com as cerimônias espirituais, para incentivá-los a estudar e se fortalecer nos saberes de seu povo.Com a pandemia do covid19 se manifestando eles não puderam retornar para casa e se mantiveram recolhidos em quarentena numa fazenda em Uberlândia por quase 3 meses. Hoje já fazem aproximadamente 4 meses que a comitiva saiu de suas casas e pede apoio para retornar para sua terra indígena. Para realizar esse trajeto com segurança será fretado um ônibus particular que sairá da fazenda em que estão isolados e irá direto para a vila de São Vicente, no porto do Rio Gregório. Antes de chegar na Aldeia Mutum e encontrar suas famílias, o grupo fará quarentena de 15 dias acampados nas margens do rio, já dentro da Terra Indígena mas longe das aldeias. O recurso arrecadado será para pagar esse transporte, a alimentação, gasolina dos barcos e outros itens necessários para viagem e quarentena. Juntos somos mais!CAMPAIGN HELP THE YAWANAWÁ GROUP BACK HOMEIn February of this year, the shaman Hushahu Yawanawá left her home village Mutum, in the Yawanawá Indigenous Territory in Acre, Brazil, taking with her a group of 11 young people, some of whom had never traveled outside of Acre before. She wanted to show the young people a little of their work with spiritual ceremonies, to encourage them to study and strengthen themselves in the knowledge of their people.With the covid19 pandemic they were unable to return home and remained in quarantine on a farm in Uberlândia for almost 3 months. Today it has been about 4 months since the group left their homes and we are asking for support to help them return to their indigenous land.To make this journey safely, a private bus will take them from the farm where they are isolated and will go directly to the village of São Vicente, in the port of Rio Gregório. Before arriving at Aldeia Mutum and meeting their families, the group will quarantine for 15 days camped on the banks of the river, already inside the Indigenous Land but far from the villages.The funds raised will be used to pay for this transport, food, gasoline for the boats and other items needed for travel and quarantine.
