Apoie as mulheres Huni Kuin do Rio Humaitá

[English Below]Estamos há poucos dias do primeiro encontro de lideranças femininas Huni Kuin do Rio Humaitá, no Acre. A Pajé Tumē, liderança geral desta terra vem consolidando o chamado da força feminina em união com a masculina. No momento em que você lê esse texto, dezenas de mulheres e outros apoios se engajam na preparação do evento. Essa imersão é fruto de um pedido de suporte para articulação e abertura de caminhos de autonomia e geração de renda para essas lideranças. Por isso, a partir da escuta de suas necessidades, as guardiãs articulam a presença e a ação de profissionais de diversas áreas para realizar uma troca de conhecimentos na floresta.

No primeiro momento desse encontro acontecerá uma assembléia entre essas lideranças com o incremento de assessorias sobre temas que auxiliem as mulheres na autonomia da criação e venda de artesanatos, entre outras atividades:

• Visual: protagonismo para tirar e editar as próprias fotos dos artesanatos e da comunidade;
•  Econômico: ideia de custo, valor e percepção do próprio consumo sob a ótica de produção autônoma;
• Comunitário: facilitação de organização participativa, criação de acordos, reconhecimento e fortalecimento de papéis de liderança;

Em um momento posterior, as lideranças estarão a frente de uma vivência tradicional com mais de 14 atividades, como:

• Pintura corporal de proteção;
• Banho com plantas medicinais;
• Cerimônia de Nixi Pae;
• Brincadeiras tradicionais Huni Kuin;
• Contação de Histórias Tradicionais Huni Kuin;
•  Oficina e exposição de artesanatos;
• Oficina de canto Huni Kuin;
• Culinária tradicional;

Para que tudo se realize de forma sustentável, precisamos de um aporte financeiro de R$40mil. Com esse valor, conseguiremos honrar com as despesas mínimas tanto para as forças femininas, quanto para outros apoios indígenas, que serão os responsáveis pela preparação e facilitação da vivência. Contaremos também com a ajuda de custo e deslocamento para alguns profissionais não-indígenas, que estarão presentes para dar vida junto ao povo Huni Kuin a tantos outros projetos presentes e futuros.

We are a few days away from the first meeting of Huni Kuin women leaders of the Humaitá River. Pajé Tumē, the general leader of this land has been consolidating the call of the feminine force in union with the masculine. As you read this, dozens of women and other supporters are engaged in the preparation of the event. This immersion is the result of a request for support to articulate and open paths of autonomy and income generation for these leaders. For this reason, after listening to their needs, the guardians articulate the presence and action of professionals from different areas to carry out an exchange of knowledge in the forest.

In the first moment of this meeting, an assembly will take place between these leaders with the increase of consultancies on themes that help the women in the autonomy of creation and sale of handicrafts, among other activities:

• Visual: protagonism to take and edit their own pictures of the handicrafts and the community;
•  Economic: idea of cost, value and perception of one's own consumption from the point of view of autonomous production;
• Community: facilitation of participative organisation, creation of agreements, recognition and strengthening of leadership roles;

In a later moment, the leaders will be in front of a traditional experience with more than 14 activities, such as:

• Body painting for protection;
• Bath with medicinal plants;
• Nixi Pae ceremony;
• Huni Kuin traditional games;
• Huni Kuin Traditional Storytelling;
• Workshop and exhibition of handicrafts;
• Huni Kuin singing workshop;
• Traditional cuisine;

In order for everything to take place in a sustainable way, we need a financial contribution of R$40mil. With this amount, we will be able to honor the minimum expenses for both the women's forces, as well as other indigenous support, who will be responsible for the preparation and facilitation of the experience. We will also count on the cost and travel assistance for some non-indigenous professionals, who will be present to give life together with the Huni Kuin people to many other present and future projects.
