#AdoptAnExplorer
You can contribute to help low-income young people (and families) escape poverty through decent employment opportunities, in Brazil.
Adopt An Explorer is a Professional Mentoring Project from Sarsa Educacional (brazilian edtech) focusing on supporting low-income university students to enter the Job Market, increase their monthly income and, together with their families, escape poverty.
Our Big Dream
Salvador, December 21, 2052.
Hi, I'm Dandara and I wanted to thank you.
My parents were sponsored by the Adopt an EXPLORER Project. They experienced this professional mentoring and obtained great job opportunities.
My mother, a black woman from the outskirts of Salvador (Bahia), got a job at a multinational and is now a leader.
My father started as an analyst at a startup and today he was invited to be a partner.
By fulfilling these dreams, they realized another one: seeing their families out of poverty.
My generation already lives a different reality.
And it all started thanks to Education!
And it all started thanks to Adopt an Explorer!
Your donation changed realities.
It impacted generations.
Gratitude!
Our big dream is to read this and many other stories.
We want (and will!) live this legacy.
Come with us?!
How do I support Adopt an EXPLORER?
You can promote the Explorer experience - so that low-income young people can enter the Job Market - through donations that maintain the Adopt an EXPLORER structure.
You can make monthly or occasional donations, depending on your current situation. In this link, our #adotometer, you can invest in these young people, dreams and families!
How will this money be used for these low-income young people?
$17,000
This amount will be use to be able to share our books and videos mentorship (through the EXPLORER experience) to 60 Brazilian low income university students.
Besides direct access to our work for 1 year, we will provide additional support:
* 3 months of psychological support (total of 6 individual sessions to each student);
* 3 individual mentorship sessions (each 4 months);
* 1 individual session to review curriculum with a professional in the area;
* English Group mentorship;
$3,000
This amount will be used to increase the team and paying labor.
Impacted Lives
“I was approved as an Itaú (Bank) trainee, thanks to my participation in the Adopt an Explorer program. For me it is of immense happiness, my approval came at a time when I was very insecure, I received support, education, encouragement and my doubts about the job market were answered”, - Millena Silva, Sanitary and Environmental Engineer, from UFBA.
