Hi friends, I´m Carla Vasconcellos, stop to tell you what's going on. As you know, we work with abused and non-profit animals, that is, we apply our resources to maintain the sanctuary. Some time ago, when the sanctuary moved to a rural area (our little paradise), we were reported to the authorities that regulate the environment here in Brazil. Our environmental laws are very strict regarding wild animals, as according to our constitution they belong to the Union, the Federative Republic of Brazil. Here we have parrots over 20 years old, and from their date of birth until today, the environmental law has undergone several changes, so these animals have not been considered legalized by the authorities - all our animals come from donations and we have to pay a fine. of seven thousand euros. This is why I ask for your help to prevent these animals from being collected by environmental agencies, we know that they are animals with various diseases resulting from mistreatment, and therefore, if they are collected, they will inevitably not survive because the places where these animals will be taken are already overloaded, and there our birds will not be treated as they should. In these places there are no people and government resources to continue the care they receive here in the shrine, and they deserve it. We are totally against the buying and selling of wild animals, we only take care of those who are rejected, those who come to us sick.
